How does the PANTABOX Energy Manager work?

From the sun to the battery - with the PANTABOX energy manager, you can charge your electric car directly with the surplus solar power from your PV system.

1. Energy generation is monitored: The energy manager continuously records the amount of solar power generated by the PV system. 
2. The PV surplus is determined: If the PV system generates more electricity than is currently being consumed in the household, the energy manager identifies this surplus. 
3. The charging process is coordinated: Based on your settings, the energy manager decides how best to use the surplus. It checks various options such as feeding into the grid or PV surplus charging.
